SK5739NW CASTLE GATE 646-1/20/100 (North side) 29/04/64 No.32 (Formerly Listed as: CASTLE GATE No.32 Castlegate Chambers)

GV II

House, now offices. Early C18, restored and converted c1990. Red brick, with rendered plinth and plain tile roof with blue brick coped gables and a rebuilt gable stack. Moulded wooden eaves cornice. 3 storeys plus attics; 2 window range. Original off-centre pedimented wooden doorcase with original 6-panel door and fanlight. To left, a round-arched glazing bar sash, and to right, a Venetian window, both with rubbed brick heads. Above, 2 similar Venetian windows, and above again, 2 renewed 3-light casements. Above again, 2 pedimented dormers. INTERIOR has a wooden open well stair with turned balusters and square newels. Several C18 2-panel doors.
