Bank. c1900. Ashlar with ashlar dressings and gabled and hipped slate roofs with 2 ridge stacks. 2 storey. Corner site, with chamfered entrance bay and 3 windows to the right and 4 windows to the left. Rusticated plinth, first floor and sill bands with projecting rusticated panels below the windows. Moulded cornice and parapet. Entrance bay has segment-headed doorway with columns and a large bracketed keystone. Above a chamfered oriel window with moulded surround and keystone plus a pair of plain sashes, and a segmental pediment. Above a moulded gable with carved coat-of-arms. Right front has 3 segment-headed 3-light windows, that to the right wider, all in moulded surrounds with bracket keystones. Above three 2-light plain sashes in moulded surrounds with double keystones, that to the right in a chamfered oriel with segmental pediment. Left front has 3 segment-headed 3-light windows in moulded surrounds with bracket keystones, and beyond 2 similar narrower doorways with blind oval panels above. Above four 2-light plain sashes in moulded surrounds with double keystones, that to left in a chamfered oriel with segmental pediment. INTERIOR not inspected. Included for group value.
