Formerly known as: Allied Irish Bank CARRINGTON STREET. Bank, now offices. 1900. By Watson Fothergill of Nottingham for the Nottingham and Notts Bank. Altered late C20. Renaissance Revival style. Red brick with pink and grey granite plinth, ashlar and terracotta dressings. Roof not visible. Corner pilasters, polychrome bands, dentillated cornice. Ground floor has a door and overlight to left, and 3 reglazed windows, divided by granite columns. Above, 2 rounded stone bay windows, 3 lights, with lead domes and a terracotta balustrade. Above again, 2 cross mullioned windows. Attic has a shouldered coped gable with 5 round-arched windows, 2 blank. INTERIOR refitted late C20.
