Pair of houses. Late C18 or early C19. Rendered, slate roof. A broad-fronted pair set across the slope of the hill, with a raised terrace to the street front. 2 storeys, each 1 window; 12-pane sashes in flush boxes, with an extra sash to the ground floor of No.30, and with margin-pane French doors to No.28. Far left, to No.30, a C20 part-glazed door, and No.28 has a 6-panel fielded door (part glazed). Ground floor has a full-width hipped and slated verandah, with patent glazing inserted at each end, carried on slender cast-iron columns, in 7 bays. Brick gable stacks. To the left is a lower 2-storey 1-bay addition in rubble with slate roof, and 2-light casements to segmental heads. INTERIOR: not inspected. Thought to have been built as one dwelling.
