Covered playground linked by walls to another covered playground with Arts & Crafts room. 1904. Designed by Richard Hall. Red brick with slate roofs and reconstituted stone dressings.
Covered playground to north of main school has 3 cast iron columns to the front, the remaining walls are brick. Hipped slate roof. Linking wall to east adjoins similar playground with classroom above and rusticated quoins. Ground floor has 2 cast iron columns, above 3 pairs of casement windows and to left a slightly projecting wing with round headed doorway with double doors and overlight. Above curved oriel window with triple casements, and parapet topped with coping all around.
