House. Late C15 or early C16, refenestrated in C20 and with C20 additions to west and north. Timber framed, covered in render on rendered plinth with steeply pitched tiled roof with brick chimneystack and end gablets. comprises two bay crosswing surviving from a larger building. 2 storeys; irregular fenestration, mainly of paired C20 wooden sashes and C20 door under penticed porch to south west. Lean-to C20 extension to north and two storey C20 extension to west, neither of special interest. Interior of crosswing has close-studded oak frame. The storey posts are jowled and at the centre bay on first floor level had braces to the tie beam creating an open truss to the two bay chamber. Original window positions can be determined to the south of the central storey post on the western wall. The first floor window still retains three of the original four diamond mullions. Floor joists are exposed to the rear bay and these are of flat section with a stair trap in the north west corner. The joists are chamfered with diamond stops but it is impossible to see how they are housed into the transverse bridging joist. Roof not seen.
