Terrace of 6 houses. c1830 (RCHME). Rendered, slate roof. A formal terrace, with a long low pediment over the central 4 units, and the ends slightly set back. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, attic and basement, each 2 windows; various dormers, possibly original to Nos 67 & 77, others non-conforming C20 various. Main fenestration glazing-bar sashes in plain reveals and on stooled stone sills, 12-pane to first and second floors, and 9-pane plus radial heads to ground floor, which is in channelled rustication with voussoirs. Nos 73 & 75 have plain sashes, and Nos 71 & 73 have a flat bay window with plain sash to the ground floor; basement lights are varied. The doors are in plain set-back reveals, the original 6-panel with raised and moulded panels to Nos 69-73, and C20 glazed to Nos 67 & 77. The door to No.75 is simpler, but probably C19. There are railings with gates to the basement areas to Nos 69, 71, 75 & 77, with a remnant only to 78. The doors to Nos 69 & 71 are on a broad flight of 5 stone steps with nosings. Plat band above the ground floor, a moulded cornice, and small blocking course with coped parapet, but long low pediment to the centre group, and 3 ridge stacks. The return to Westbourne Road has a 12-pane sash to the first floor, and a broad 4-pane light to the basement; the rear has various 4-pane sashes, and some late C20 brick extensions. INTERIOR: not inspected. (RCHME: Dorset, South-East: London: 1970-: 358).
