SU 75 NW ROTHERWICK THE STREET (south side) 4/89 The Old Bakery -
- II
Late C18, and circa 1900. 2 storeys, 4 windows. Red tile roof, brick dentil eaves. Painted brick walling in Flemish bond, 1st floor bond, cambered openings to the ground floor. Plinth. Casements. Doorway has a thin canopy on carved brackets, a solid frame and 1/2-glazed door. In front of the house is shop unit of circa 1900 with a red tile roof, bargeboard to front gable, roughcast walling, a bow-shaped cornice above a glazed frieze, and a central glazed door between curving windows (each cill on 3 brackets).
