SU 73-7450 & 73-7451 ODIHAM HIGH STREET (south side) 17/74 No 31 (Frenchman's Cottage) and No 33 (Frenchmans) one dwelling (formerly listed as cottage adjacent 'Mornacot', 'Mornacot' and 24.11.61 Dan-y-Craig)
GV II
C17, C18, C19. Old 2-storeyed range with later front, incorporating very recent changes. Red tile roof, 1/2-hipped, catslide at rear. Painted brick walling. 7 casements to 1st floor, at the east side a mid C19 bow shop front, with house door (No 31) on one side and shopdoor (now a window) on the other; cornice brackets, pilasters, central bracket. Doorcase (No 33) has a canopy on brackets, thin panelled pilasters and 6-panelled door. At the west side another old shop window, bow-shaped on a bracket with square cornice above narrow pilasters. 3 modern sashes fill the remainder of the ground floor. Interior has large beams and joists.
