2. Pair of C18 weatherboarded houses standing at corner of London Road and Market Square. 2 storeys and ridge mansard roof with small leaded dormer in centre. Ground floor. C19 projecting shop fronts. First floor. 2 sash windows in exposed frames, (to left with bars, to right with bars removed). Small square light in centre. Moulded eave board with small flat modillions and projecting bracketed gutter. Long right return to London Road has early C19 3-storey, 2-window weatherboarded extension. Recessed sash windows with glazing bars. Lower parts of rendered brick on foundation of large stone rubble.
