2. Main building of about 1740 incorporating C16 timber framed structure. Main east front of 2 storeys, attic and basement, 5 windows. Tiled gambrel roof, half hipped at ends, with 3 flat dormers. Red brick with diaper of blue headers. sash windows with glazing bars, those on ground floor under segmental brick arches. 5 stone steps to central 6-panel door in moulded frame with rectangular fanlight. Moulded and dentilled hood on brackets. 1-storey lean-to left extension. Hipped gabled right rear wing. Parallel timber-framed span at left rear, now tile hung on 1st floor, brick below.
