SEEND' HIGH STREET ST 9461 (north side) 12/283 Bakery Cottage and The Old Bakehouse 19.3.62 (formerly listed as The Bakery) GV II

House, C18, red brick with stone slate roof, half-hipped to east, hipped at north-west angle and ridge stack on main range. Two storeys, L-plan with added range behind. Raised brick band. Gable end to street has cambered-head triple casement over 8:8-pane paired sash with cambered head. Thick glazing bars. Windowless west return and 2-storey hipped porch in angle with C20 upper window and door in flush moulded surround with hood on brackets, possibly reset. Main range has two C20 casement pairs above and C20 four-light casement below, all leaded. Behind is L-plan parallel rear range, hipped to east and gabled to north and lower range running north beyond. Recorded as a bakery from 1760 to 1967. (E.
