Details
SU 8346 NE FARNHAM WEST STREET No 22 5/365 447 GV II , House and shop. Deeds date back to 1611 but refronted & extended to rear in early to mid C19 with C.1950 Neo.Georgian shop front. Timberframed building refronted in roughcas t wi th tiled roof and tall brick chimneys tack. 3 storeys 1 window to front. Moulded eaves cornice. 2nd floor has 6-pane sash with horns, 1st floor has 9-pane sash with horns, ground floor has C.1950 shopfront with bow, .pilasters and paterae. Rear elevation is of 2 storeys with hipped roof, modillion eaves cornice, 8-pane sash to 1st floor and C20 French window to ground floor. Interior ground floor has boxed in beams and there is an early C17 brick vaul ted cellar approached by half-winder brick stair with wooden edges.
