II

House, formerly farmhouse. Late C16 or early C17 2 bay lobby entrance house with C19 range added to front. Front range in brown brick in Flemish bond with red brick dressings. Renewed tiled roof with 2 hips and 2 brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 windows. Sashes with verticals only. Ground floor has 2 3-light canted bays without glazing bars and horns. Central doorcase with 8 panelled door, the top 2 panels glazed. Rear range is timber framed, on the ground floor left hand side there is some exposed box framing, but otherwise the ground floor is brick and tile hung above. Renewed tiled roof. Date C20 sash windows throughout. One ground floor room has an open fireplace with some old brickwork and 3 inch chamfered beam with run out stop and similar floor joists. The other ground floor room has an open fireplace with 2 inch chamfered axial Beam with bar stop and similar stops to floor joists. 1st floor has exposed box framing and jowled posts. Brick fireplace with wooden bressummer and chamfered spine beam. Roof has multiflued brick chimney and side purlin roof with some rough hewn rafters. No ridgepiece.
