House and adjoining cobbler's shop, now one house. Late C17-early C18, extended in C19. Plastered cob on rubble footings; cob and rubble stacks topped with C19 brick; thatched roof. Gable-ended house facing north-east comprising an original 2-room house with central through passage and end stack to left (south-east) room. In C19 stair inserted blocking passage. End (now axial) stack added to right room and shop built onto right (north-west) end. 2 storeys. Overall 3-window front of late C19-early C20 3-light casements with glazing bars and flat stucco architraves. 2 windows to original cottage with central door under small hood. Shop window to right blocked by C20 door and window with glazing bars. Some late C17-early C18 features exposed inside including cob fireplace with plain oak lintel and chamfered crossbeam with run-out stops to right room and plank door with applied panel front from passage to left room. Roof inaccessible.
