ROWDE HIGH STREET ST 9762 11/246 Tayler monument at north-east angle of churchyard of Church of St Matthew GV II Chest tomb, early Cl9, ashlar with slab sides, fluted angle quarter-columns with paterae at mid-length, moulded base and capstone. Side plaques with incised borders and rebated angles flanked by similar panels. Decoration originally blackened. North side inscription to Robert Tayler, d.1827.
