2. Circa 1790-1800 house of 3 storeys painted brick with stuccoed ground floor. Gable end slate roof with modillion brackets to moulded eaves cornice. 3 windows symmetrical, the 2nd floor windows in shallow rectangular recesses, 3 x 4 pane sashes. On 1st floor 5 x 4 pane sashes with nearly flush flanking pilaster strips and shallow segmental arches, the tympani decorated as blind fanlights. On ground floor 2 broad framed sashes with later glazing. Door to left of 6 fielded panels with semi-circular fanlight in doorcase of thin panelled strips with thin fluted console brackets to open moulded pediment. 3 steps up. Interior has open string staircase with shaped brackets, slender clustered shaft balusters, moulded delicate swept rail, scrolled on turned base newel. A good front notable for the treatment of the 1st floor windows.

Allthe listed buildings on the South Side from Nos 21 to 31 (odd) including Trinity House, form a group.
