7/200 Church Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse, early C19 recasing of C17 or earlier timber-framed house. Roughcast with slate roof and end stacks. Two storeys and attic, 3-window range of exposed box sashes. Three first floor 16-pane sashes, not aligned over ground floor 20-pane, half- glazed door in gabled porch and two 16-pane sashes. Two-gabled rear wing, steeper gable timber-framed and slate hung, painted brick parallel gable probably C19. Two-storey C19 brick and slate south east extension not of special interest. Some timber-framing visible in rear of main range. Studded plank rear door and heavy ground floor beams, chamfered and stopped.
