By George Devey. Dated 1850 and with monogram D.L.D. Irregular shaped cottage
forming corner of Leicester Square. 2 storeys and tile roof with ornamental
bargeboards to gable ends and period Tudor stacks.
Ground Floor of stone laid in irregular courses with plinth and£stone mullioned
windows.
First Floor rendered and oversailing at side and supported on exposed timber
joists.
Formerly the School House.
Wall Cottage, Nos 1 to 3 (consec), the Archway, the Old Guildhouse and the
Post Office and Retaining Wall form a group.
