2. (Now 2 cottages). C16 or earlier. Framed half timbered house in good state of preservation. 2 storeys and gable end windows. Ridge tile roof and centre stack. Diamond paned windows. First floor oversailing and supported on carved wooden brackets. Partly boarded and partly plaster infilling. Modern shingle gable ends. Brick and stone plinth. Dragon beams at all 4 corners. Inter west extension in keeping.
Wall Cottage, Nos 1 to 3 (consec), the Archway, the Old Guildhouse and the Post Office and Retaining Wall form a group.
