Late medieval timber framed structure, possibly a small hall, with later elevation. Two storeys, three windows. High pitched tiled roof, hipped at left, with ridge stack. Tile hung first floor, brick ground floor. Square paned casement windows. C19 four-panel doors under bracketed hoods. Inglenook and exposed timber inside.
Quaintways, The Cottage, Colquhoun House and Longford form a group with Kirkwood Garden Shop and La Petite Hair Salon.
