2. 2 storeys and attic, 4 windows. Originally 5 windows, but right bay now added to LONGFORD (qv). C18 elevation masking older structure. Painted brick. 2 storeys with centre part projecting and raised forming pediment or gable end with moulded brick eaves and containing attic window. Brick plinth and continuous brick band and band across gable end. Brick parapet and concealed roof (partly slate and partly tile). Symmetrical elevation with centre panelled door with Regency fanlight over. Restored panelled reveals and door case, carved scroll brackets supporting pediment with key moulding. Sash windows. Rear Elevation. Coupled bow fronts. Stone, tile hung above and Welsh slate roof with eaves and gutter.
Quaintways Tea Rooms, The Cottage, Colquhoun House and Longford form a group with Kirkwood Garden Shop and La Petite Hair Salon.
