SUTTON MONTIS 7/147 Baker monument, in churchyard, about 8 m east of chancel, Church of the Holy Trinity - GV II Chest tomb. Mid C18. Lias stone with white marble insert slabs. Hollow chamfered plinth; plain panelled ends and 2-panelled flanks; plain frieze, moulded undercoving to shallow hipped top with buttressed leading edges. Commemorates Robert Baker (sometime churchwarden) died l751, and others of his family.
