14/122 Courthill House 19.3.62 GV II
House, early C18, chequered brick to front, blue lias rubble stone to sides, with slate hipped roof and stacks to rear. Two storeys and attic, formal 2:1:2 window front with centre slightly projected. Three flat 9-pane dormers. Ashlar rusticated quoins flanking centre and side sections, raised moulded plinth, moulded string course and painted timber eaves cornice. Twelve-pane sashes with exposed boxes, gauged brick heads and ashlar keystones. Half-glazed centre door in early C19 ashlar surround, beaded doorcase, two Roman Doric columns with triglyph frieze and cornice above. To left, a C19 matching red brick 2-storey addition, set back with one 12-pane sash each floor. Various brick rear additions. Interior: panelled entrance hall and staircase with panelled dado and turned balusters.
