2. Circa 1840-50 group of 3 storey and basement stucco faced houses. Some alterations. The centre pair, Nos 148-150 project and have full width gable, originally with deep moulded eaves. Deep moulded eaves on long shaped wood brackets survive to No 146. No 152 has moulded eaves band, 2 windows each to Nos 146 and 152, the 2nd floor windows of former set between eaves brackets. Tall 1st floor sashes in architrave surrounds with pediments over and architrave framed sash with panelled apron to ground floor of each. Flight of steps with cast iron rails up to 4 panel doors with rectangular fanlights in eared architraves. The centre pair, Nos 148 and 150 have 2 windows each 2nd floor, no glazing bars - on 1st floor a tripartite glazing bar sash window, pilasters dividing architrave surround, cornice over. In centre between houses blind architrave framed window with segmental pediment - on ground floor each has canted bay, and to basement, pilasters, glazing bars intact, the moulded cornice carried across centre over paired pilaster framed entrances. 4 panel doors set back with 2 pane fanlights. Group value.

Nos 146 to 152 (even) form a group.
