3/110 Lower Winson and Rosemary Cottage
- GV II 2 adjoining cottages. Probably C18. Rendered stone rubble and cob to Lower Winson, unrendered stone rubble to Rosemary Cottage. Thatch roof with gable ends. Brick stack to left end of Rosemary Cottage, large C19 axial brick stack and stone rubble stack heightened in brick at right gable end. Plan. Overall L-shape on plan. Lower Winson to right has 2 rooms, with direct entry into right-hand room; Rosemary Cottage to left has direct entry into front principal room with smaller room to rear wing. 2-storeys. Lower Winson has two 2-light casements 2 panes per light above similar window to left and 3-light casement to right of wide rendered porch with thatched roof. Primrose Cottage to left retains late C18/early C19 fenestration throughout of 2-and-3- light casements with diamond leaded panes; single window on each floor to left of C20 gabled porch. Chamfered cross ceiling beam and fireplace lintel to Lower Winson. C19 joinery principally intact. Primrose Cottage interior largely altered in C20.
