1. LODGEMOOR LANE
5227 Lodgemoor Mills SO 8404 6/347 SO 8405 5/347 II GV 2. 1871-3. Architect James Ferrabee of Brimscombe. Rebuilt after fire of 1871 to similar ground plan to previous mill (circa 1815). Mill on site since at least C15. Red brick with blue brick pilasters and voussoirs, panels of yellow brick above 2nd floor windows. 3 storeys and parapet. 12 ranges of round arched windows with glazing bars and wing to north at west end. Engine house at east end: 4 bays: 1 storey: 2 round arched windows with glazing bars in north elevation, set in recessed panel of yellow brick under single relieving arch. Lodgemoor Mills. Lodgemoor Mills Office Block,Nos 1 & 2 Lodgemoor Cottages and Lodgemoor Mills Bridge form a group with Fromehall Mills.
