Farmhouse. C17 with extensions. Ham stone ashlar, double Roman clay tile roof with coped gables; brick chimney stacks.
Two storeys, 5 bays irregular fenstration. Ovolo-mould mullioned windows, 3-light above and 4-light below, the lower
windows in between bays; flat arched ovolo-mould doorway with part-glazed door to lower bay 2; continuous label
moulding to whole of ground floor, stepped up over doorway. To north gable, a lower building, to fit drop in ground
level, with chamfered flat-arched doorway to possibly C18 door into cider cellar, with loft over; to south a C18
extension of 2 bays with throughway; 2-light chamfer mullioned windows. C17 outshut to rear, with further mullioned
windows and good C17 door. Interior not seen, but reported is a 3-room cross passage plan; blocked fireplaces, C18
shell-hood cupboard and also C18 panelling and tie-beam trusses. (VAG Report, SRO Unpublished, December
1981).
