House and attached Dining Hall to the Beacon School

2. Formerly Bois Farm. C17 house, timberframed refronted in red brick in C18. Old tiled roof, large brick chimney at west end. Two storeys, first floor band. One 2-light and two 3-light casements to each floor, segmental arches to ground floor. Interior: exposed timber framing. Barn attached on east, C17 or C18 timber framed, weatherboarded, old tiled roof continuous with house, cart entry now glazed, outshot on left under continuation of main roof with inset dormer. Modern windows. Interior: six bays, single aisle on north, curved braces and raking queenposts. Now used as school Dining Hall.
