House. Probably C18, with modifications. Local stone rubble, rendered on South elevation: plain clay tile roof between coped gables, the projection on South elavation hipped; stone, brick and rendered chimney stacks. 'E'-plan with rear addition; 2-storeys with attic, 7 bays. Projecting bays 1, 4 and 7 have 16-pane sash windows in architraved surrounds: bay 2 has french doors under elliptical keystoned arch with imposts, above a 12-pane sash; bay 3 has a 16-pane sash below and two 8-pane sashes above; bay 5 has small door with fanlight to left, then 16-pane sashes to both levels; bay 6 has an 8-pane sash below only: hipped dormer windows to bays 4 and 6.
House, (unoccupied January 1984) appears to have been remodelled to rear and internally in 1920s.
