2. This building was formerly a farmhouse but appears to have been remodelled during late C18 early C19. Later additions. Externally north,or entrance facade asymmetrical. Painted brick with timber eaves plate well below present eaves. Slate roof. 2 storeys, 6 windows of different sizes and irregularly placed sashes with glazing bars, and 1 small leaded ground floor casement probably original. Later extension to east, 4 windows, late C19/early C20 incorporating large Gothic window moved from elsewhere. Wood porch. Lantern and dormers presumably added with early Cl9 roof. Interior remodelled in late C18 early C19 to include large low square hall with timber ceiling beams and contemporary open well staircase with slender iron balusters and ramped handrail. Elliptical arch under stairs to corridor. 1 ornate plaster fireplace surround downstairs 6 panelled doors.
