WATER NEWTON MILL LANE TL 1097 (North Side) 12/173 No. 3 (Mill Cottage) and adjoining range of barns and stables to west and south. GV II Cottage, granary and stables. C18 with early C19 rebuilding and alteration; 1805 dated stone to granary. Coursed limestone rubble with freestone dressings; Collyweston stone slated and Welsh slated roofs. Brick shafts to chimneys. L-plan with cottage to east of east-west range and granary and stables to west forming north-south range. North elevation: Two storey cottage with parapet gables and end stacks, two brick shafts to left hand stack and single shaft to right hand. C20 door and two ground floor casement windows with wooden lintels; two first floor casement windows. Lean-to addition linking cottage to granary. West elevation: two storey granary and stables, one pair of double boarded doors to right hand entrance with segmental headed arch, two casement windows and doorway to left hand and one blocked doorway and window further to left; five first floor casement windows with wooden lintels.
