SK 13 SW PARISH OF DOVERIDGE DERBY ROAD 2/7 (North Side) Ley Hill Farmhouse and 13.9.67 attached barn. II
Farmhouse and barn. Late C18 and early C19. Red brick with plain tile hipped roofs. Four brick ridge stacks, two on front range and two on rear. Two storeys, L-plan. West elevation has an enormous early C19 semi-circular bow with glazing bar sashes and a half domed lead roof. To the left a doorway flanked by 2-light windows, all with segment heads. Two windows above with segment heads, either side of the dome and a small square window. South elevation has a full height canted bay window with central Venetian type window on each floor. Hipped roof dormer above. Long rear wing with attached barn. Irregular openings to south.
