11/179 Moat bridge, S of 11.10..73 Middle Pond

Bridge. Earlier C19. Probably erected by the 3rd Lord Ongley. Cast Iron. Small hump-backed bridge in fairly ornate style. Balustrades spiral round at ends to finish at newel post with small acorn finial. Handrail is supported by closely spaced balusters with simplified palmette tops.
