GV II
Large house at end of terrace with shop on part of ground floor. Mid C18. Incised render on plinth, slate roof, brick stacks. Long range with small rear extensions, 2 storeys and attic. Originally 4 symmetrical bays, edged with alternating chamfered quoins and with additional (brick-sided) bay to left. 4 widely spaced plate glass sashes with eared and shouldered plain architraves, 3 centrally spaced hipped dormers over with leaded casements. Ground floor originally had 2 similar windows to each side, now only to right of central wide doorcase with open moulded dentil pediment on fluted consoles over Doric pilasters. 6-panel door up 2 stone steps, with fielded panels and side lights, and wide depressed radial fanlight. To left, whole of ground floor now early C19 shop front with 2 canted plate glass windows with dentil cornice, moulded panelled pilasters with circular motif on capitals. Central half-glazed double doors.
