Beechurst
The description shall be amended to read:
House. Late C18 or early C19 with later C19 alterations. Painted brick and
pebbledash rendered with plain tiled hipped roof. 2 storeys; 3 bay entrance front
with central door: 2 projecting gabled wings to rear; glazing bar sash windows with
frames flush to wall on first floor, wide C19 sashes to ground floor; 6 panelled
door with rectangular fanlight, C20 porch. Brick dentilled eaves cornice, 2 brick
ridge stacks. Left hand return front incorporates No 1 Church Road, with
2 full-height, shallow angled bays, containing glazing bar sash windows.
Interior: Some late C18-or early C19 panelled doors, rebuilt staircase and some
moulded cornices. Most of the chimneypieces have been removed, except for one on
first floor.
