2. Circa 1830. Architect probably James Sanderson. Three storeys, eight windows in all. Stuccoed. Built over a colonnade across the pavement consisting of eleven round Doric columns and at the ends, coupled with one of the latter, a square pillar. First floor windows in moulded architrave surrounds with three blank window spaces similarly enclosed and one bay window built out. Stringcourse above first floor. Shops beneath the colonnade, tye fronts modern except for No 2 adjoining the Turk's Head, which retains its glazing bars. The glazing bars above the ground floor are intact.
