2. Early C19. Corner site with George Street. Three storeys painted brick. Low pitch hipped old tile roof. Shallow eaves cornice with dentils on Esplanade front brick sill course second floor. Three windows to Esplanade, recessed, sash, later glazing bars flat brick arches. Traces of red brick window dressings. Two bay windows of three lights on first floor, modern on No 14, and C19 to No 13 with fluted pilasters, projecting moulded cornice, weather boarded apron later. Three windows to George Street, slightly recessed, sash, later glazing bars, one tripartite moulded rendered surrounds. Modern shop front to No 13. Remains of mid Cl9 shop frame to No 14 with pilasters, frieze and moulded cornice, carried round corner up to No 2 George Street, including recessed door of four panels with rectangular fanlight. Shop door set cross corner.

No 1 & Nos 3 to 14 (consec) form a group.
