The South Arcade and the arches from the church into the transepts are of circa 1170. North Arcade and tower with flanking outshuts circa 1200. The Chancel and North and South Chapels late C13. Thus most of the church is in the Early English style with some late Norman work from a preceding church. Inside, a picture of the Virgin and Child by Perugino (N.M.R.).
