Gatepiers, screenwalls and lodge. 1866. Ashlar with Welsh slate roof.

Tall square corniced piers, with acanthus friezes and pyramidal caps, flanked by lower similar piers with plain friezes: Low quadrant walls have plinth with bold horizontal tooling; and balustraded parapet; moulded coping and similar end piers.

Single storey, three bay lodge to right has central C20 door in surround with pilasters and high semicircular pediment inscribed with the date and a squirrel, the crest of the Baker Cresswells. C20 windows in original openings. Gabled roof with kneelers, ridged coping and ball finials. Tall corniced ridge stack of diagonally-set conjoined shafts. Lodge included for group value.
