TQ 71 SW CATSFIELD CHURCH LANE
29/4 Catsfield Methodist Church
II
This is an unusual church in that it was designed, built and paid for by a pros- perous local builder named Henry Blackman. It cost £4,000 and was built in 1912. 2 aisles and tower with broached spire at south end. Stone building in Perpen- dicular style. Unusually good essay in the Perpendicular manner, particularly for e Methodist church. The tower and spire are a landmark.
