House. Early and late C17. Coursed sandstone and limestone rubble with irregular plinth, some quoins and ashlar dressings; stone-flagged roof with stone gable copings; left chimney rendered. 2 builds; second build at left 2½ storeys, 3 bays; first build 2 storeys, 2 wide bays. Small left one-storey outhouse. Taller left part has central 4-panel door and overlight under thin stone lintel; similar lintels and roughly-dressed sills to late C19 sashes on ground and first floors in outer bays; top floor has 2 small 4-pane fixed lights with thin stone shelf sills. Blocked 3-light stone-mullioned window over door. Roof has irregular gable copings; square right end chimney. Left return gable has massive external stack. 2-storey first build has chamfered round-cornered blocked doorway at extreme left, with alternate-block jambs of which the left forms quoins for second build. Wide tooled surround to central door with round-headed panels; late C19 sashes between doors, and on first floor, with thin stone sills and lintels; square-headed window in plain stone surround at right has shutter-pin holes. Massive square stack with domed top, to left of centre; right end square stack. Rear elevation shows 2-storey, 2- bay wing on second build, with small chamfered light in return and in adjacent rear wall.
