STANHOPE STANHOPE NY 93 NE 20/270 Stanhope Hall Mill
GV II Mill. Early C19. Coursed roughly-squared sandstone with quoins and pecked ashlar dressings; roof of graduated Lakeland slate except over 2 right bays which are Welsh slate. 3 storeys, 6 bays, the left one blank except for boarded door in ground floor. Wide segmental arch over double boarded doors in fifth bay. Flat stone lintels and projecting stone sills to sashes with glazing bars; top floor has square windows.
Overshot wheel on left return obscured by vegetation at time of survey.
