TQ 2580 NE CITY OF WESTMINSTER INVERNESS TERRACE, W2 63/30 (east side) 14.1.70 Nos 48 to 106 (even) GV II Terrace of houses. Mid C19. Brick. Stucco dressings. Channelled stucco to ground floor. Balanced terrace. Centre 5 houses,100 to 106 and 52 to 58 break forward slightly, centre group with fluted Corinthian pilasters to first and second floors, between the bays; end houses with similar pilasters between houses. 3 storeys,attic and basement. Each house 2 windows wide. Projecting Ionic porches. First floor bombé balconies. Square headed windows, except to second floor where round headed. Architraves above ground floor segmental pediments to first floor except to projecting houses where pediments triangular. Sashes, margin glazing, French casements to first floor. Cornice above second floor and subsidiary cornice to attic. Cast iron area railings. Nos 48 and 50 act as junction block between the symmetrical remainder of this terrace and Nos 2 to 46 (qv).
