Stables, undergoing conversion to dwellings at time of survey (October 1985). Circa 1801. Random rubble chert stone
originally rendered, Ham stone quoins, a dressings and window frames, hipped slate roof with shallow pyramid roofs
distinguishing outer bays, brick stack between first and second bays left. Plan: rectangular block undergoing
conversion to 4 dwellings. Two storeys, 1:7;1 bays, outer bars applied full-height semicircular-headed arch, flat
string with keystone set below eaves, circular first floor window, wooden flat string, pointed arch windows with
scratch moulded jambs to main block, renewed divided tracery without leading, wooden pointed arch loft doors flanking
central bay, flat Ham stone string course band, double doors with pointed arch heads flanking central 3 bays, outer
bays with C20 doorways, pointed arch doorways with square-headed doors set in glazed opening. A handsome stable block.
