MAVESYN RIDWARE C.P. PIPE RIDWARE SK 01 NE 6/115 Pipe Ridware Hall
GV II
Farmhouse. Circa 1800, on the site of an earlier house. Rendered brick; slate roof with coped verges. Central brick stack. L-shaped plan, main house aligned north-south facing west with rear wing aligned east-west. 3 storeys with eaves band, reduced proportions to second floor. 3 windows, casements with segmental heads. Central 6-panel door with rectangular overlight. Pipe Ridware Hall is built on the site of the timber framed mansion illustrated in Stebbing Shaw, The History and Antiquities of Stafford- shire vol. 1 (1798) p. 161.
