7/26 Barn dated 1734 at Bunny Hall 14.5.52 G.V. II
Threshing barn. 1734, later C18 extension. Designed by and built for Sir Thomas Parkyns. Red brick with blue brick chequering. Plain tile roof. Large doorway with plank door flanked by single pilaster buttresses. To the right is a single opening with plank shutter, and to the left are 2 similar openings and shutters, the left single bay being the extension. The 1734 build with 3 rows of slit ventilators placed close together, most blocked. The right gable wall inscribed in blue brick "S T P 1734". Interior. Posts are mounted upon corbels set into the wall, these with single curved braces support the tie beam and wall plate. Sir Thomas Parkyns Bart. (c.1662-1741) carried out improvements to and rebuilt almost all of Bunny to his own designs.
