House, now divided. Mid to late C16 with later alterations and additions. Timber framed with some brick replacement and extensions; plain tile roof; brick ridge stack in English bond. Baffle-entry plan house aligned north-south facing west with extension wing to the south aligned east-west. 2 storeys with close studded framing a full storey in height. Slightly irregular 3-window front; C19 casements. C20 doors to left, right and left of centre, the latter directly in front of the stack. Gabled extension wing to the right with roof catsliding over a projection within the right hand return. The left hand gable of the main house has exposed framing of 4 square panels to eaves level and a collar and tie beam roof truss with herringbone pattern framing. Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.
