2. Circa 1870, attributed to J A Hansom. Split-level Tudorbethan cottage of one storey with attic, with basement storey also in SW and NW elevations. Brick walls with stone dressings, iron trellis mullioned windows, mostly with transomes. Tall ornamented brick stacks. Three bay front elevation faces NE; from left hand, first bay with transomed two-light window above and below, the attic window with gable over. The second bay in the form of a projection with hipped roof, with gabled canopy on sloping brackets over doorway in side wall and, in the front wall, a three-light mullioned window above and below, the ground floor window set slightly to left hand; doorway in side wall with Caernarfon shouldered arch and good ledged door. The third bay comprises a projecting full-height gable with two-storey, three-sided bay window with stone slate roof with four-light transomed and mullioned window on both ground and first floors; gable with kneelers and slit light in its apex; stack to rear.
Gabled SE side with transomed three-light first floor window and large rectangular bay window with stone slate roof to ground floor, with four-lights in front and a single light to each side; stone kneelers and coping to gable.
SW and NW elevation of similar style.
Internal features include good stone fireplace etc.
