Woolgarston Cottage

Detached cottage. Probably C18. Rubble stone walls, stone slate roof, brick end
stacks. 2 storeys and attic. Ledged door in corrugated iron porch. Ground and
first floors each have 2 plain casements, those on ground floor under segmental
arches. Raised circular stone panel above door Attic has one hipped dormer
with pivoted sash with glazing bars. At right end a single-storey outhouse
extension in matching construction, with ledged door. At left end, a former
cart shed has rubble stone walls and corrugated asbestos roof. Single-storey
rear lean-to under catslide roof. (RCHM, Monument 138. Dorset. Vol. II).
